What a gem of a place. The history of it, and the quirky design make it really special despite being a little shabby around the edges. It’s family run and everyone who works there really cares about the place keeping Gordon and Ethel Bell’s legacy going. The ghost town is AMAZING! It truly is a gem of a museum with write ups on each buildings history. We have stayed here 2 years in a row just to enjoy this amazing place!!

We just spent 3 nights 4 days in the hotel and honestly I could have stayed longer. The hotel is older but that's my favorite part. If your looking for top quality brand new everything with all the fancy things and room service maybe don't come here but if you want a fun cool place to hang out and enjoy being with family and not on phones and glued to TV and screens then check this place out. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. We switched rooms after the first night because I forgot to extend our trip so that was my fault but they were wonderful and accommodating. Always making sure we had what was needed. The dog loved being there and swimming with us. No dogs allowed in the garden or private Beach area but he loved walking the ghost town with us. I was amazing by how big and cool the ghost town was. We spent a lot of time in it. Besides the hotel grounds and things to walk around they had a library and ping pong the places around the hotel have really grown too and we're not as far as you think. We had lots of fun and def would be back.

Stayed two nights here with my family after driving by on so many other road trips. Read the reviews about no Air Conditioning, the property being dated, etc and decided it was still worth checking out for us - are we glad we did! As mentioned, there is no AC but fans are provided and with the right timing, you can cool your room off with strategically opened windows. The screens didn't totally seal the windows up but we never had issues with bugs. Staff kept the hallway windows open so there was always a bit of a cool breeze if you were ok with slightly propping your main door open. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable for what we were provided and what I can assume are the massive upkeep costs for a building this size and age. Wifi is also only provided in certain common areas but we didn't really mind; you're out in the mountains, we were there to enjoy them. The property is MASSIVE and some of it has been boarded up yes. But the more you explore and read the history about it, you sort of understand. A family run business (that even generates its own power by the way) survived the pandemic and are doing what they can in today's climate. The places people frequent are full of interesting things from antiques to historical pictures of the property when it had originally opened in the 60's. The places that are run down are not where people are being housed but we honestly found it very cool to come across a shut off room on our wander that looked like it used to be some sort of lounge. The indoor garden is straight out of the 70's and a total throwback that even my 8 year old loved. The restaurant is what it is; we saw 4 staff in total and they were working all day every day. The menu is limited as they need to make the best of what they can based on said staff and location. If you want to mix it up, the drive in to Revelstoke is only about 15-20 minutes. You will need an entire day (or more) to explore the ghost town next door; it's huge and well worth the cost of admission (which is discounted if you're staying at the hotel). We're actually planning to come back again just for the experience and history. The vibes were so much better than a Coast Hotel we had stayed at the nights before, just know what you're getting in to and enjoy it.

I cant tell you enough good things. We stayed in the loft room and the cave room. I cant tell you which I liked better. The loft room had two floors. A living area and upstairs is the bedroom. Very nice room but the view... stunning. Then we stayed in the cave room. What a cool room. As you can see by my pictures, the room is completely rock. It's so cozy especially with the fireplace. I loved having bathrobes. We're going back at the end of the month, we loved it so much.

Driven by here multiple times over the years, and never stopped by. Boy was I doing a disservice to myself. This place is fantastic. I wish I had been here in it's hayday. But I can tell you it's so worth doing a local vacation here. There is so much to do and explore! Huge hotel! It's got a library, snooker table, ping pong, human sized checkers/chess, a pool, foosball table, seating area, beautiful indoor garden, gorgeous outdoor space and garden with a beach and lake, and of course the famous ghost town. Very unique and charming. Service was good at every area we went too. The restaurant was decently priced. The food could have been a bit better, but was still tasty. I think we are definitely going to go back as I am sure we still missed some things. Brilliant place to be.

This is a worthwhile stop! Very well done displays. There is something for everyone here. The facilities are well maintained & the village grounds are clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant but we left a little something for our next visit. Staff are friendly & welcoming.

Wonderful stay at Three Valley Lake Château! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The service was excellent and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is beautiful with stunning lake and mountain views. Such a peaceful and relaxing experience

I think this hotel has his own charm there’s something to see for everyone! i highly recommend. We stayed there 1 night i think it was enough we could have used a second day and enjoy the view and the lake. Service was good, food at the restaurant was really basic and not much taste. Everything is old but all fit together air conditioning would be a must
